The virtue of brutality embodies raw strength and power. With boundless reserves of endurance and an unmatched destructive potential, this virtue is favored by many barbarians, strongmen, and similar indomitable warriors.
All feats associated with this battle art are detailed below. The number on the left is the minimal virtue rank required to obtain the feat.
Novice Technique
Range 10 meters
Description A warrior's cry emboldens your friends. Make a power roll governed by your key attribute. You and up to two allies of your choice within range gain 1/2/3 Surges.
Heightened You can affect an additional ally for each rank you raise this technique above novice.
Apprentice Technique
Description You charge the battlefield like a battering ram. Move up to your speed in a straight line, during which you ignore difficult terrain. If you enter the space of another creature, make an Impale attack (at no further cost). If the target fails their Might gate, you can continue your movement, dealing an additional 1 bleed damage per meter you move with them.

Trigger You are targeted by a non-area attack and have a creature impaled.
Description You reposition an impaled foe to take the brunt of an attack. You force a creature you have impaled to move horizontally into a space within your reach. If the creature is between you and the source of the triggering attack, they become the target of that attack instead of you.
Novice Technique
Description You thrust your weapon through your foe like a boar on a spit. Make a melee Strike. If the target fails a Might Gate, they become impaled until they succeed on a saving throw or you Dismiss this effect. While impaled in this way, the target is Grabbed by you, and you cannot use your weapon to attack creatures other than the impaled creature.
Special While you have a creature impaled, you can use your maneuver to move them horizontally into any space within your reach.

Novice Technique
Description You crash upon an enemy like a meteor from the sky. Make a Leap. At any point during your jump, you can make a Smash attack, which can only push the foe towards the ground. If the target fails a Might Gate, they are also knocked Prone.
Charge You may spend your movement immediately before using Pounce to increase the distance of your jump, as per the Leap simple ability.
Expert Technique
Description Make a melee Strike with the following added effects. If the target is Wounded, your attack gains an edge and benefits from a Surge.
⊗ Fumble The target is Dazed until the end of their next turn.
⬖ Struggle The target is Stunned until the end of their next turn.
✦ Crit The target is Stunned (save ends).
Master Technique
Description One to crack the bones. One to break the spirit. One to end the pain.
Make three melee Strikes against the same foe, where each Strike after the first gains a cumulative burden (a single burden on the second attack, double burden on the third). Each time one of these Strikes ✦ crit, you gain a Surge.
