Description Your precise blow reveals a gap in your foe's defense. Make a Strike. The next power roll against the target before the start of your next turn gains an edge.

Apprentice Spell

Trigger A foe within range takes damage.
Description You target a lie at the triggering foe, making them turn on their friends. The triggering target must pass a Reason gate. On a failure, they are Taunted by a different creature of your choice within range (save ends).
Apprentice Technique
Trigger A foe within your reach ⊗ Fumbles a power roll.
Description One stumble, and you are ready with a blade. Make a melee Strike against the triggering foe with the following added effects.
⊗ Fumble Your humiliation attempt fails; the target is Taunted by you until the end of their next turn.
⬖ Struggle The target must succeed on a Will gate or be Weakened (save ends).
✦ Crit The target must succeed on a Will gate or be Frightened (save ends).
Novice Technique
Trigger You defeat a foe.
Description Choose a creature within 5 meters of the triggering foe. They must pass a Will gate or become Frightened (save ends).
